Internet Society: Web UI & Icons

The Internet Society is a “global charitable organization empowering people to keep the Internet a force for good: open, globally connected, secure, and trustworthy.”
In this case study we will explore ISOC’s 2024 Action Plan, digital brand guide, iconography, and donation page concepts.
Action Plan 2024
For this project, I was tasked with making global internet policy fun and engaging to read. To do so, I created a series of branded illustrations (one for each section of the Action Plan) that help connect users with the subject matter.
Additionally, each section is color coded so users can easily find the information they are looking for despite the immense amount of content.
Using Adobe XD, I created a layout system that could be easily translated by developers to the live site.
Digital Brand Guide
This brand guide was designed to help the global network of Internet Society chapters navigate the vast library of brand elements with ease. It is meant to be an introduction to the tone and values of the brand in addition to a directory of resources.
Icons
Internet Society has very specific guidelines for the icons in their brand. New icons must fit the style while illustrating complex ideas.

Donations Landing Page
Two Directions
Shown here are two stylistic directions for a prospective Donations landing page. Option one is light, bright, and simple; whereas option two is darker and has a more photographic focus.
Internet Society’s “node” graphic is a core part of their brand, and can be used in many ways to illustrate a concept.
